About Tiko

Tiko is an African non-profit organisation leveraging the power of a tech-responsive world to deliver sexual and reproductive health impacts to underserved adolescent girls and young women in urban and peri-urban Africa.

Brief

Tiko is the go-to platform for verified sexual and reproductive health (SRH) impact in sub-Saharan Africa. Tiko contracted Namvela to support with their efforts to grow the platform across new and existing markets in Kenya, Uganda, South Africa and West Africa, through a range of New Business Development initatives.

What We Did

Namvela conducted collaborative and evidence-based proposal design processes, including Theory of Change workshops with key Tiko stakeholders to decipher the programme design, including objectives, inputs, outputs, interventions, key performance indicators, assumptions. We conducted a rapid literature reviews to ensure programme goals were aligned with sector evidence and best practice, and are meeting the needs of adolescent girls. We analysed likely competitors and the value proposition for each competitive proposal process. We managed the proposal narrative, guide budgeting, monitoring and evaluation framework development. We also supported internal bid no bid and C-suite engagements to ensure proposals are aligned with the Tiko strategy, and had internal backing throughout.
