Brief

conduct a programme evaluation of a global participatory research partnership between The Wellcome Trust and UNICEF, which used innovative participatory methods to investigate mental issues young people were facing across a range of low and middle income countries.

What We Did

We used qualitative methods using key informant interviews across the two organisations to generate insights on the viability, effectiveness and sustainability of the partnership model and participatory research methods used during the project. We conducted a literature review and landscape analysis to assess the trends and good practices associated with participatory research methods and partnership models.
